The Peril of Early Morning MRI's

Well this morning came early. I had to be up at 6:00 am to do an Open MRI scan on my right knee. Since my informal retirement from Flash Development I haven't had to drive to much. However, this morning I remembered one of the reasons why I retired. Early morning traffic was cluttered with self-indulged idiots and morons driving their gas guzzling SUVs. It's the trend that the Western American Culture subscribes too. The persuit of success in exchange for the moral errosion of an entire culture.

What is GoatLogic?

GoatLogic in its simplest form is "the glorious absense of common discretion." GoatLogic can be discovered just about anywhere that you find a crowd of people. If you have no idea what I'm talking about maybe this illustration will help enlighten you.

I have a friend that works as a bank teller. She was working drive through the Friday before Labor Day weekend. As the banks will be closed on Monday for the Holiday you can imagine it was rather busy that Friday afternoon. She was working the drive through lanes and only 2 of the 3 lanes were open due to the fact that one of them was out of service. The lane traffic was stacking up, about 6 or 7 cars deep in both lanes. She had just thank one of the customers when this guy pulls into the "not in service" drive through lane. The customer calmly rolls down his window and pushes the red "talk" button because the plastic tube was missing. My friend kindly replied "Sir, I'm sorry that lane is out of service and is closed." Disgusted by this the man replied "If this lane is closed, then why did you leave the red light on."

There you have it, a prime example of GoatLogic. For those of you who don't get it. Well then you've become the object by which GoatLogic has manifested itself in full.
